Man, those wave patterns were a pain. Not only did I NOT have a single straightforward picture of that particular hikizuri, I also didn't have any pictures of that obi as well! But then I came across a nice video of another maiko putting on that same hikizuri! Not the same obi but ah well, at least I got the larger part taken care of... mostly.

Enjoy! This little doll is accurate!

The folds on this are so... bold yet so elegant, like they look so real. The way you shade is truly beautiful. Like I've said before, I really hope to one day grasp realism within pixels like you have. Definite fave! <3 :D

Lol!! Yes, I would understand it would be a -lot- 8D. Getting those markings too, you did such a wonderful job. Awwh, it's just so cool I don't really know what else to say D: Lol! But yeah, I should probably look at reference pictures when I shade.. I'm just too lazy.. <<; Heehee!

I know you pixeled it, I was just stating you used so many colors it doesn't look like pixel art. to me using that many colors is extremely tedious.
